The photo below is a 50/50 shot of the same panel of a 2008 Range Rover OverFinch. The defective paintwork on the right shows unsightly swirls marks which are caused by microscopic grains of dirt being rubbed into the surface of the paint as a result of incorrect washing and drying techniques. The left side of the panel has undergone paint correction which has been re-levelled by only 3 microns to rejuvenate the finish back to it's former glory. What is detailing? In contrast to valeting, detailing is an art and a science which involves the performance of an extremely thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of an automobile, both inside and out using specialist equipment and techniques which produces a show-quality level of detail. Elements of exterior detailing include claying, machine polishing, paint depth measurement, paintwork correction, waxing and sealing which rejuvenates, protects and dramatically enhances a vehicle's paint finish. Even on new cars! Interior detailing involves the meticulous deep cleaning of carpets, upholstery, plastic, vinyl and leather trim using special brushes, compressed air and liquid cleaners. All interior surfaces are then conditioned and protected with the most advanced products on the market which leave a durable new-look finish. James Finch has been detailing cars since 2005.
Reflection Detailing offers a fully mobile service, all work is carried out from your home/on site. Access to power and outside tap required. A small surcharge for travel expenses may apply.
